The multilingual actor Sonu Sood turns 44 years old and to make his birthday special for his fans, the actor released a stunning poster along with his character details from forthcoming war drama Paltan.
He captioned the poster, “Major Bishan Singh…We might not KNOW them all but we OWE them all. It’s time to #JoinThePaltan @ZeeStudios_ #JPFilms @RealNidhiDutta.”
Sonu Sood dons the uniform of a Major for Paltan, his character name is Major Bishan Singh.
Directed by JP Dutta, the movie is a war drama based on the Nathu La military clashes of 1967 which took place along the Sikkim border, Paltan tells the story of the Indian armed forces facing off in an intense battle to ward off Chinese infiltration.
The movie stars Arjun Rampal, Sonu Sood, Gurmeet Choudhary, Harshvardhan Rane, Siddhanth Kapoor and Luv Sinha among many others. The movie is slated for 7th September release.
Apart from Paltan, Sonu Sood is also part of yet another historic war drama movie, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, which is an upcoming biographical film based on the life of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi.
Kangana Ranaut plays the titular role of Rani Laxmibai and Sonu Sood will be seen playing the role of Sadashiv in the film.
