Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor expressed that cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan, who claimed victory in Pakistan elections, works towards improving ties with India. The actor appreciated Khan’s speech, in which the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief said Pakistan is ready to improve its relationship with India.
Rishi Kapoor wrote, “Well spoken Imran Khan. I have been saying whatever you said on all channels past two days regarding India-Pakistan! I hope you succeed in making your ‘Mulk’ have good relations with my ‘Mulk’.”
But unfortunately using the word, Mulk, which is the name of his next film didn’t sit well the fans and twitterati. They slammed the actor on social media for being irresponsible and what not!
As for Mulk, it stars Rishi Kapoor and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles. The film is directed by Anubhav Sinha and produced by Banaras Media Works. The trailer of the film has received good response so far.
The film is slated to release August 3.
