Actress #MouniRoy says she is only focusing on working hard right now and not worrying about the outcome of her upcoming films.
Mouni Roy along with interacted with media at the IMAX trailer launch of her forthcoming film Gold on Wednesday. Moni was present at the venue with co actor Akshay Kumar, Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Kumar Singh and Sunny Kaushal.
Mouni who will be debuting with the sports biopic Gold has bagged many films like 'Made in China' with Rajkummar, 'Brahmastra' and 'RAW' with John Abraham before hitting the big screens. When asked if she feels any kind of pressure with so many films with big starcast, she said, "I love doing what I do, so of course I am very very excited and nervous. I am a person of nerves and disbelieves when everything happens I will answer your question. But I am just focusing on working really hard right now."
As a debut actor when asked about her experience working with Akshay in her first film she said he is humble and very heart warming person.
"The experience working with him has been great; he isn't just a great co actor but also a great human being. He always used to help maintain a pleasant atmosphere on set. There is no hierarchy on the set. He is same with the director as he would be with spot guys. But when it comes to scenes he is sincere in every shot, when you seen him like that you realize why he is where he is."
Mouni will be seen playing Akshay Kumar's wife in 'Gold'.
Talking about working in her first film when asked about the most memorable moments she said, "Its my first film so every moment spend on that set is close and dear to me. But I loved shooting both the songs a lot. Also the pranks were very memorable."
'Gold' is a historical sports drama, inspired by India's first Olympic gold medal that traces the "golden era" of Indian hockey through the journey of Tapan Das, a young assistant manager in 1936, who dreams of playing for an independent nation.
Directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Excel Entertainment 'Gold' will release on August 15.
