The official handle of Emmay Entertainment just made the official announcement along with cast details. It said, “A day of new beginnings. For our 12th production, #Hasmukh, we venture into the web format! Directed by our dearest @Nikgonsalves and starring the brilliant duo of @thevirdas and @RanvirShorey , we’re excited for this one!”

The shot for the web series has already begun, Vir Das tweeted about the first day of the shoot. He wrote, “First day begins for #Hasmukh Thank you to @EmmayEntertain @TheWeirdass @ApplauseSocial @nikkhiladvani @nairsameer and the whole team for giving  life, passion, and 'killer' creativity!”

#GoGoaGone that released in 2013 surprised everyone with its sizeable box office success. #SaifAliKhan, #KunalKemmu and #VirDas were appreciated for their comic timing in the film.

The makers are now returning with the sequel to the film. The shooting for the film will start in January, next year.

Saif told a daily newspaper, “We are doing ‘Go Go Gone 2’. It’s an exciting idea and I’ve really liked it. I will return as Boris in the sequel. But this time, I’ll be on a different mission. Raj and DK have found an interesting premise for the second installment, which is in sync with the first part. They are currently writing the script. The other characters played by Kunal Kemmu and Vir Das will also be a part of it. We start filming next January.”
