Aurous Avatar’s executive producer’s film heads to #CannesFilmFestival.
Aurous Avatar Entertainment’s executive producer Nagesh Pujari’s Marathi film ‘Idak: The Goat’, directed by Deepak Gawade has been selected for the Cannes International Film Festival to be held May 08 - 18, 2018 in Cannes, France.
The Cannes-bound film is among three winners selected by the Maharashtra government after screening 26 films.
The film depicts the journey of a man, Namya, who is determined to reach a ritual fair along with a sacrificial goat to fulfills his mother’s dream. But alas the journey is not as easy as expected. But along the way, Namya rediscovers the meaning of friendship, humanity, sacrifice, and wisdom.
Associated with Bollywood for the past 16 years, Mr. Pujari has worked for movies like Aamir, Ghajini, Teen Patti, Once upon a time in Mumbai, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya.
Even in Hollywood, he has left his mark by working on films like Singularity; Love you to death, The Darjeeling Ltd and Hare Krishna. He has also done quite a number of TV commercials as well.
