The dazzling and gorgeous diva #VaaniKapoor has just confirmed her first outing with #RanbirKapoor in Yash Raj Films, #Shamshera.
Vaani Kapoor, who was last seen in Befikre (2016), will be seen playing the female lead in opposite Ranbir Kapoor. The actress confirmed the news on her social media profile. She wrote, “New Beginnings #KaranMalhotra #RanbirKapoor @duttsanjay @Shanoozeing @ShamsheraMovie”
Yash Raj Films also confirmed the news about Vaani Kapoor. They wrote, .@Vaaniofficial is all set to sizzle like never before in our upcoming action adventure #Shamshera along with #RanbirKapoor & @duttsanjay @ShamsheraMovie | @karanmalhotra21”
In this period drama, Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor play the main lead with Sanjay Dutt as the main villain, helmed directed by Karan Malhotra.
The movie is a period action-adventure film. This also marks Sanjay Dutt’s first film with YRF.
Shamshera is set to go on the floors by the end of this year and shooting will wrap by mid-2019.
Apart from that Shamshera, Ranbir also has Brahmastra in the pipeline wherein he will be sharing screen space with Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, and Mouni Roy.
Sanjay Dutt is busy with Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3, Torbaaz, Kalank, and Panipat.
