The actress Sonakshi Sinha wrote on her social media profile, “And its a film wrap for #HappyPhirrBhagJayegi! Its been an amazing journey with an amazing team! Thank you @mudassar_as_is for giving me the opportunity to bring #Happy to life! And the entire cast and crew for one of my funnnnnest shoots! Cannot wait for 24th august!”
"Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi", a sequel to the hit 2016 film "Happy Bhag Jayegi", is set to release on August 24.
Actress Diana Penty, who played a runaway bride in the first part of the film, has returned for the sequel. She is joined by Sonakshi, whose character also runs away from her wedding, in "Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi".
Aziz, who also helmed the first part, confirmed the same on his social media profile and thanked everyone for working in the film. The sequel stars Sonakshi Sinha, Diana Penty, Jassi Gill, Jimmy Shergill, Piyush Mishra, Ali Fazal and Aparshakti Khurrana.
The movie is slated for August 24th, 2018 release.
