Sonam sticks to the traditional red for her wedding dress

The wedding ceremony took place in Mumbai amongst family and friends. The bride Sonam stayed loyal to the color red for her big day, she was seen in an Anuradha Vakil red-and-gold lehenga-choli. While Anand was in a beige sherwani with a gem neckpiece. They tied the knot in a traditional Sikh ceremony.

Abhishek Bachchan and sister Shweta Bachchan Nanda were both dressed in white. The Bachchan siblings chose Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla outfits for the Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja wedding.

Next to arrive were Sonam's friend and fashion designer Masaba Gupta and producer Madhu Mantena arrives at the venue.

Kareena Kapoor Khan was seen outside the venue posing for the shutterbugs along with husband Saif Ali Khan and son Taimur. Sister Karisma was also seen with them.

Sonam's uncle Boney Kapoor, along with daughters Janhvi and Khushi, was accompanied by Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh. Janhvi chose a pink outfit matching her father's Kurta while Khushi was in a pale yellow attire. 

Many other celebrities were seen entering the venue like Filmmaker Kara Johar, Rani Mukherji, Arjun Kapoor, Mohit Marwah and Swara Bhaskar, Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor and bride's best friend Jacqueline Fernandes.

Amitabh Bachchan was later seen joining daughter Sweta and Son Abhishek for the occasion. 

The Veere Di Wedding actress kicked off the wedding celebrations on Sunday, with a private mehendi ceremony for her family members and close friends followed by a sangeet party.
