Actor-Writer-Producer-Singer, the multi-talented Farhan Akhtar raises some valid point on social media and urges top management people to punish people, who are threatening others with “Rape” and “Death” online!
Social Media has been an integral part to create a socially aware environment and spread information but like the old saying goes, different people different strokes, some individuals have made the whole experience into “life and death” situation for people with opinions.
Celebrities, Politicians, Sportsman, and people from regular walks of life keep getting threats from social media trolls for having something to say or share.
Filmmaker Farhan Akhtar took to his social media account and urged the top management to get smarter about their regulations and don’t allow people to go unpunished, who are threatening others with Rape and Death, threats.
Farhan wrote, “Top management at Twitter must regroup and decide what they’d like their service to be remembered for. If it’s for good, then they need to get smarter in its regulation. Rape and death threats cannot be allowed or go unpunished. @twitter @TwitterIndia”
Farhan Akhtar expressed his discontentment towards the micro-blogging platform Twitter for not taking preventive measures for abusive and threatening comments flowing like a stream of water everywhere.
On the work front, Farhan was last seen in Lucknow Central, which is directed by Ranjit Tiwari and produced by Nikhil Advani, under the banner of Emmay Entertainment.
