It is wedding season in Bollywood, first, we saw the grand affair of Sonam Kapoor weds Anand Ahuja, followed by quite #wedding of Angad Bedi webs Neha Dhupia and now, actor-singer #HimeshReshammiya has tied the knot with longtime girlfriend #SoniaKapoor last night in a traditional Hindu ceremony here in Mumbai.
Himesh Reshammiya and Sonia Kapoor are officially married. The ceremony was a close-knit affair with just close family and friends, including Himesh’s parents and his son Swaym.
The couple will be leaving for their honeymoon on Sunday. Post marriage Himesh will be announcing two new films as an actor. His wife Sonia will not be taking up any acting offers now as she wishes to focus on family.
Himesh shared the snaps from his wedding on Facebook and captioned them, “Togetherness is bliss!”
Sonia, who has worked in TV-shows like 'Kittie Party', 'Yes Boss' and 'Remix', she looked every bit royal in their traditional attire. While Himesh looked dapper in a sherwani, Sonia made for a beautiful bride wearing a lehenga.
This is Himesh's second marriage. He was earlier married to Komal for almost two decades. The news of their separation first came to light in September 2016 when they filed for divorce and in 2017, he was granted the divorce.
