Television actor #RaviDubey who is making his Bollywood debut in #3Dev has said that it’s not actor’s job to look at profit or loss of the film.
Ravi Dubey was interacting with media along with Karan Singh Grover, Kunal Roy Kapur to promote their upcoming film ‘3 Dev’ on Thursday in Mumbai.
‘3 Dev’ is clashing with Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor starrer ‘Veerey Di Wedding’, so when asked Ravi does he think that it will hamper box-office collection of the film, he said, “We wish all the best to ‘Veerey Di Wedding’ and us as well. Our job is not to look at profit or loss of the film. Our job is acting and that I think we have managed pretty well so we are looking forward for the release of the film and I hope both films does well at the box-office.”
‘3 Dev’ is revolves around the concept of ‘Undecover gods’, talking about the film, Ravi said, “It’s a beautiful film. The trailer is the first projection of the film and everybody loving it and even as audience, we loved it. The trailer is telling what the story is about. It’s putting people in edge of their seat so, we are very glad that people are liking it.”
“It’s about undercover god who is doing good work for the society but they are not obvious. In our daily life also, we meet lot of people like these who do good work but we obviously can’t say that they are gods”
When asked ravi what was his reaction when makers of the film approached him for ‘3 Dev’, he said, “It has ring to itself and when you listen to it for the first time, you can imagine yourself in that space. You can feel that how it resonates with your personality and frequency so you go ahead with that decision and you don’t think it through while working in it”
Sharing his experience working with Kay Kay Menon in ‘3 Dev’, Ravi said, “It was amazing working with him. He is such a senior actor. We got to learn from him while shooting the film. We always look up to him because he is 7 feet tall”
Ravi plays role of god Brahma in ‘3 Dev’, so when asked ravi what kind of preaparation he did to play the character of Brahma, he said, “I think if somebody has traits like Brahma in the modern world, it would be somewhat of a creator who is scientifically very well versed. My character does small inventions in the film and my character has certain pace of dialogue delivery which audience can watch in the trailer so, it is there because he is so well versed with scientific concepts that he can express that in his daily life so effortlessly so, dialogue delivery point, I thought that would be something that, I would probably be in sync with the fact that I can fairly learn it when it comes to scientific concepts”
‘3 Dev’ revolves around a cynical landlord played by Menon, who gets three tenants in the form of Karan Singh Grover, Kunaal Roy Kapur and Ravi Dubey.
The town people start consider them to be god Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh following certain incidents, which leads to a series of hilarious consequences, which forms the plot of the film.
The movie also stars Raima Sen, Poonam Kaur, Tisca Chopra, Priya Banerjee and Bengali star Prosenjit Chatterjee. 3 Dev is directed by Ankoosh Bhatt. The movie is scheduled to release on June 1.
