Actress #AliaBhatt unveils the most brutal and gripping trailer of her upcoming movie, which is based on a bestselling book and directed by #MeghnaGulzar.
The movie which also stars Vicky Kaushal is based on Harinder Sikka's best-selling novel, Calling Sehmat. Raazi is about Sehmat who is a daughter, a wife to a Pakistani army official and an Indian spy.
Alia Bhatt shared the trailer on her social media account. She captioned it, “Watan ke aage kuch nahi!!!! here goes @meghnagulzar @vickykaushal09 @karanjohar @DharmaMovies @JungleePictures @vineetjaintimes @apoorvamehta18 #RaaziTrailer”.
In the trailer, we Sehmat (alia) assigned to be an Indian spy by her father as she gets married to Vicky's character who hails from Pakistan. There are soft and romantic moments between Alia and Vicky, but the cutting tension is palpable. The action-packed moments where she trains to be a spy in enemy territory are just brilliant.
The film is produced by Dharma Productions and excited Karan Johar also shared the trailer. He wrote, “And here it is!! #RaaziTrailer - The story of an ordinary girl in extraordinary circumstances!! @aliaa08 @vickykaushal09 @meghnagulzar @dharmamovies @apoorvamehta18 @jungleepictures”.
The movie also stars an impressive ensemble, which includes names like Ranjit Kapur and Jaideep Ahlawat. The movie is slated for 11th May 2018 release.
