Actor #KamalHaasan shares an open video to Indian Prime Minister #NarendraModi, over Cauvery water crisis and urge for Justice.
Kamal Haasan just shared a video on his Twitter account. He captioned it, “To my Honourable Prime Minister #KamalAppealToPM @narendramodi @PMOIndia.”
In the video, the actor is seen saying, “Good Morning Sir, my name is Kamal Hassan, this is an open video to my honourable Prime Minister, I am very sure that you are aware of the crisis that is gripping in Tamilnadu and ongoing agitations for Cauvery Water. I think with your previous experience with Narmada water board authority, you could easily deliver the justice that Tamilnadu is asking, seeking for.”
Further adding Kamal expressed that despite intentional delays, he is hopeful that justice will be served for Tamilnadu and Karnataka.
He added, “Both Pundits and Pedestrians are like, suspect and believe, that this delay in us getting justice is due to the elections in Karnataka and your interest in it. I want this belief to be dispelled for people, who are more important than elections, as you well know. Thank you sir! Please do justice for Tamilnadu and Karnataka, and see that Supreme Court judgment is forward. I am also sending you an open letter, in case I’ve missed out any points.”
Recently, Ex MLA Vatal Raj and Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) president Sa Ra Govindu asked all the distributors not to buy Karnataka distribution rights for Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth films. The development comes after the two actors demanded the setting up of Cauvery Water Management Board for water sharing between Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Kerala.
