The official twitter account of the forthcoming film launched the trailer on Friday morning.

The trailer starts off with the comedy feel what we would expect of a Shahid Kapoor film but it soon takes a dark turn when Shahid friend dies after being scammed by the electric company. Shahid who plays a lawyer is seen trying to write the wrong with support of love interest Shraddha Kapoor. Yami Gautam will be seen as a lawyer defending the company.
The cast released posters a day before trailer release on their social media accounts introducing the characters one by one.Shahid Kapoor share the poster and wrote, “Feeling on top of the world! Kal se trailer chalu. #BattiGulMeterChalu”
Directed by filmmaker Shree Narayan Singh, Batti Gul Meter Chalu stars Shraddha Kapoor, Yami Gautam and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles.
