The maker of #Dhadak just informed that the shooting of the film is complete along with beautiful new still of #IshaanKhattar and #JanhviKapoor.
The official page of Dharma Production shared a candid picture of debutante Ishaan and Janhvi on social media and confirmed the shooting wrap-up. It said, “It's a wrap on #Dhadak #3MonthsToDhadak @karanjohar @apoorvamehta18 #Janhvi #Ishaan @ShashankKhaitan @ZeeStudios_”
Dhadak is a romantic drama film directed by Shashank Khaitan and features debutants, Ishaan Khattar and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles. The film is produced by Dharma Productions and Zee Studios. The film is a remake of 2016 Marathi language film Sairat.
Ishaan Khattar has already made his debut with Majid Majidi helmer “Beyond The Clouds” but “Dhadak” would mark his first commercial Bollywood drama film.
Shashank Khaitan, who has seen the “BTC” is nothing but praises for the actor. He said “#IshaanKhattar is amazing in his debut film #BeyondTheClouds...what a confident and solid performance. Feeling so so proud. All the best my boy and all the best to the BTC team”
Karan Johar is also impressed with BTC, he wrote, “Ishaan is spectacular in #BeyondTheClouds ...such strong silences and heartfelt outbreaks...his maturity as an Artist at this age is so rare...welcome to the movies Ishaan you have such an exciting journey ahead of you.....”
The story of “Dhadak” is based on the 2016 Marathi language film Sairat, however, this version will be set in Rajasthan. The film is scheduled to be released on 20 July 2018 in India and overseas.
