It is lesser known fact that Shweta Bachchan is a renowned author and her debut book, Paradise Towers is just been acquired by HarperCollins Publishers India and the book will be out in October 2018.
Amitabh Bachchan just took to his social media account and expressed his excitement over the book. He wrote, “T 2776 - THE PROUDEST FATHER...my daughter GREATEST!!”
The official handle of publication also confirmed the news on social media. Their tweet said, “HarperCollins Publishers India is proud to announce the acquisition of Shweta Bachchan-Nanda’s (@earth2angel) debut novel, Paradise Towers. Out October 2018.”
Shweta Bachchan-Nanda’s debut, Paradise Towers, a heart-warming slice-of-life novel set in an apartment building in Mumbai. Paradise Towers will be published in October 2018. The acquisition includes a second work of fiction, due to be published in 2020. The two books were acquired by Shreya Punj, Assistant Editor, HarperCollins India.
The intimate and nuanced debut explores the drama and dynamics of intertwined lives in Paradise Towers: a forbidden romance, an elopement, the undercurrents of tension in corridor interactions, and an explosive Diwali celebration.
