#SalmanKhan expressed her concern over #PoojaDadwal, as the actress is suffering from Tuberculosis and cannot afford the treatment, said “help is on the way, she will be okay”.
Pooja Dadwal, who was Salman Khan's co-star in the 1995 film 'Veergati', recently made headlines as she reached out for financial aid for her tuberculosis treatment. Abandoned by her family, the former Bollywood actress has been going through a financial crisis.
Talking about Pooja Dadwal on the sidelines of “Da-bbang” tour press junket, actor Salman Khan said, “It's really sad. She is not my co-star but she was Atul's co-star. I just heard about this and we are trying to help as much as we can. And our team is already onto it. I did not know that she was going through this phase. I think she will be okay."
The former actress is ailing from tuberculosis and other lung problems and is admitted to a hospital in Mumbai, where she has been for more than a fortnight. Salman Khan heard of her plight during his music and dance tour, he asked his team to send two bags of clothes and other gifts besides making an arrangement to foot all her medical bills from now on.
On the work front, Salman Khan is busy with Race 3, the third installment of the franchise is helmed by Remo D'Souza. Apart from Salman, Jacqueline, and Bobby, the movie also stars Anil Kapoor, Saqib Saleem, Freddy Daruwala and Daisy Shah in pivotal roles.
The film is set to hit the screens on June 15, 2018.
