The twitter account of #Netflix India shared the first teaser of upcoming Netflix original series named Sacred Games starring #SaifAliKhan and #NawazudinSiddiqui.
The 30-second video was captioned as, "The deadliest games are the ones we are fooled into playing. #SacredGames premieres 6 July 2018."
The video also announced the show will premier on 6th July 2018. it showcased the title style anthem and introduction to the show. in terms of the music and vibe, it came off to be influenced by HBO's Game of Thrones title track.
The series focuses on Sartaj Singh, a seasoned and cynical Bombay police officer, summoned by an anonymous tip one morning, a voice which promises him an opportunity to capture the powerful Ganesh Gaitonde, criminal overlord of the G-Company.
As the stakes mount and Sartaj seeks knowledge of his prey, it becomes clear that the game the two players thought they were engaged in is, in fact, part of a much larger scenario, one that expands beyond their city.
The Netflix original series 'Sacred Games' is based on Vikram Chandra's novel of the same name. The series is directed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane and produced by their Phantom Films banner.
