Talking about her film Shubh Mangal Savdhan, she said, “I am very overwhelmed with the response for Shubh Mangal Savdhan’s trailer. It’s very quirky and different film but at the same time it’s very funny and it has beautiful love story and I can’t wait to see how people like it.”

Bhumi’s debut film Dum Laga Ke Haisha was with Ayushmann Khurrana and in Shubh Mangal Savdhan again she is romancing with him and both film’s plot more or less is looking similar, so when asked about that, Bhumi said, “Both films are love story so I feel people comparing me in these two films  is very natural because in Dum Laga Ke Haisha, I was 30 kg more than what I am in Shubh Mangal Savdhan and it has Ayushmann again pairing with me so it’s pretty obvious for people to compare but good thing is that it’s a good comparison as Dum Laga Ke Haisha was appreciated by the audience but both films are really different from each other in terms of storyline.”

Bhumi also spoke about her another film Toilet – Ek Prem Katha, she said, “I am definitely nervous as it’s my second movie but at the same time I am very excited about it because it’s a beautiful film  and I am sure people are going to connect with it.

Toilet – Ek Prem Katha is a satirical comedy film in support of Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, a governmental campaign to improve the sanitation conditions in India, with emphasis on the eradication of open defecation in public areas, especially in the rural areas of India. It is releasing on 11 August, 2017.
Bhumi’s second film Shubh Mangal Savdhan is the remake of Tamil comedy, Kalyana Samayal Saadham. RS Prasanna, who also directed the original, will don the director’s hat again for the Hindi version.

The original film starring Prasanna and Lekha Washington, Kalyana Samayal Saadham was about a big fat south Indian wedding with a quirky twist.

It is releasing on September 1, 2017.
