Actress #AliaBhatt, who is busy shooting for #Brahmastra has says her father directing her makes #Sadak2 very special.
Alia interacted with media after attending a calligraphy exhibition preview of 'East Greets West - A Conversation Through Calligraphy' in Mumbai on Tuesday.
Recently on Mahesh Bhatt's birthday the filmmaker announced 'Sadak 2' starring sisters Alia and Pooja Bhatt along side, Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur. When asked about the new project she said, "It's beautiful and absolutely amazing, like a dream come true. My father will be directing me, one cannot ask for a better thing. Sadak 2 is going to be very special. Everyone kept asking me when am I going to work with him so I am finally doing it."
Talking about her upcoming film 'Brahmastra' Alia said, "We all are very excited for the film...I think 'Brahmastra' is a step ahead. It will take cinema to another level so, I am very excited for the next year,"
Alia when talking about her experience with painting and the calligraphy exhibition said, "I used to be an average painter as a child, I have taken painting classes also. I used to work in charcoal but I never pursued it and nothing happened about it. The reason I am here today is because of Tapan he is a very good friend of mine.
Their company indulgence alot into creative work and this one especially is amazing. You are bringing two people who cant communicate with each other and bring out this story through calligraphy. It just goes to show how art has no boundaries and there is only one language with is art. The pieces that I saw inside are all very beautiful.
She also revealed that she would not attempt at making a portrait but if she had to she'd like to make her cat Edward's portrait someday.
'Brahmastra' is a fantasy adventure trilogy directed by Ayan Mukerji and stars Alia Bhatt,Ranbir Kapoor, Akkineni Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy.
Its first part is slated to hit the screens on Independence Day, 2019.
