#AjayDevgn has started shooting for the forthcoming historic #biopic on Tanaji Malusare, a general in Chatrapati Shivaji's army. The actor shares a first-day shooting picture on his social media profile.

Historic drama ‘Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior’ will talk about the valor and might of Maratha Warrior. The actor earlier shared the first look poster from the film. He captioned the post, "He fought for his People, his Soil and his King Chhatrapati Shivaji. The unsung warrior of glorious Indian history, Subedar Taanaji Malusare"
Devgn will now be seen taking up a sword, shield and heading out to the frontline for his role as the unsung warrior Subedar Taanaji Malusare, who fought alongside Chatrapathi Shivaji Maharaj.
The film is helmed by Om Raut, also starring south superstar Jagapathi Babu in the leading role. The film, produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series, will revolve around the life of this unsung warrior of glorious Indian history, Taanaji Malusare, who fought for his people, his soil and his King, Chhatrapati Shivaji. The film is slated to release in 2019.
Apart from the Historic Biopic, Actor Ajay Devgn is also busy wrapping up Total Dhamaal along with Sons of Sardaar: The Battle of Saragari. He has also committed to star with Rakul Preet Singh and Tabu in his next Hindi romcom, produced by Luv Ranjan.
