Filmmaker #KaranJohar unveils candid new still of #RanveerSingh from forthcoming action drama #Simmba and also confirms the release date of the film, stating that he can’t wait for the explosion!

Ranveer Singh is shooting for his upcoming film Simmba in Hyderabad. In the film, the talented actor will be seen playing the role of a cop for the very first time in his career.
The director of Simmba, Rohit Shetty also shared the new still and wrote, “He calls himself ‘ROHIT SHETTY เคा HERO’... I call him ‘The DYNAMITE’ Yeh 28th December ko Phatega!!! @ranveersingh @karanjohar @reliance.entertainment @dharmamovies @rohitshettypicturez @simmbathefilm"
In the photo, Ranveer is seen giving an intense look wearing a grey shirt and black trousers. His sharp moustache nailed the perfect strict cop look.
The film also stars newcomer Sara Ali Khan opposite Ranveer. It is co-produced by Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar, the film is set to hit the screens on December 28, 2018.
Apart from Simmba, Ranveer will also be seen in Gully Boy directed by Zoya Akhtar. In the film, Ranveer will be seen as a street rapper and is paired opposite Alia Bhatt for the first time. Gully Boy is slated to release on February 14, 2019.
Ranveer will also start prepping for Kabir Khan's '83, where he will be seen playing the role of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev.
