John interacted with media at the success bash of ‘Parmanu – The Story of Pokhran’ along with director Abhishek Sharma on Tuesday in Mumbai.

John Abraham and Akshay Kumar shares really close bond with each other. They have earlier worked in ‘Garam Masala’ ‘Desi Boyz’ ‘Housefull 2’ and ‘Dishoom’ together but on this Independence day, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Gold’ and John Abraham’s ‘Satyamev Jayate’ will clash each other so when asked John about clash of both of them at the box-office, he said, “Akshay is an actor in ‘Gold’ and I am an actor in ‘Satyamev Jayate’. It’s a producer’s decision from both sides. It is about Excel Entertainment and T-Series so, I have no say in that at all, As far as competing with Akshay is concerned, I want to make it clear that, he is my senior in the industry. I love him and I have always wished best for him and I am sure he also wants best for me”

John Abrham career as an actor is spanning over 15 years and he has worked in almost 45 movies in bollywood so, talking about industry, audience and media’s changing perception on actor’s ups and down in his career, John said, “See it’s cyclical. If your one film does good then people laud you for it and you get bouquet of flowers for it and if your film doesn’t do well then you also get brickbat for it so, I think I have become old horse in this industry and now, I understand what works for the film and what runs in the mind of people”

When asked John whether Indian audience has become more open in accepting different subject of films as compared to regular commercial films, he said, “I think there is an audience for every film be it commercial film, adult film or a comedy film.  We are making really good films at this point of time.  We have to make out and out commercial films as well so we are not against specific genre of films. I think we should make an effort to create better content by keeping the value of entertainment in the mind every time. I enjoy doing all kind of films. Honestly, I love doing comedy films so, I want to do something fun in the near future with nice message somewhere down the line”
After ‘Parmanu – The Story of Pokhran’, John next will be seen onscreen in Milap Zaveri’s ‘Satyamev Jayate’ followed  by Robbie Grewal’s ‘Romeo Akbar Walter’ (RAW) and Nikhil Advani’s ‘Batla House’.
