Rajkumar Rao's father in #STREE, even after the completion and the release of the hit film #RajkumarRao still calls DEDDY(daddy), whenever he meets him. Atul ji also played Salman's father in 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'. Now the versatile actor will be seen playing Divyendu Sharma's father in #Battigulmeterchalu which #ShahidKapoor and #ShraddhaKapoor in the main lead.
His most recent project ’Stree’ with actors like Rajkumar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripati and Aparshakti Khurana has been receiving critical acclamation from all around the country. Atul Shrivastava is seen playing the character of Rajkumar Rao’s father which is a comical role. When asked about his character he said, “My character in the film is that of a very broad minded and friendly father who talks with his son about everything but is still protective about him and make sure that he is on the right path.”
Atul Shrivastava will also be seen in Batti Gul Meter chalu with Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor and also in Luppa Chuppi with Karthik Aryan and Kriti Sanon.
Atul Srivastava is also playing Kartik Aaryan's father in upcoming film 'Luka Chuppi' .He is currently shooting in Gwalior with Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon directed by popular cinematographer turned director Laxman Uthhekar for 'Luka Chuppi'.
