Horror Genre is the current flavor of Bollywood and the latest to join the spooky bandwagon is #Lupt, the makers of the film are out with its first official trailer, which is needless to say is eerie and disturbing.
Lupt is a sinister, uncanny, hair‐raising journey into the realms of the unknown, with a family holding on secrets! The film stars Jaaved Jaaferi, Vijay Raaz, Karan Aanand, Meenakshi Dixit, Niki Walia and Rishab Chadha. The horror drama is written and directed by Prabhuraj.
Actor Jaaved Jaaferi shared the trailer on his social media profile. He captioned it, “Mere pyare Tweetiyo…need all your support on this one. A very tight supernatural thriller LUPT…Official Trailer. Jaaved Jaaferi, Vijay Raaz, Karan Aanand.”
In the trailer, a family is on vacation to some remote farm house kind of location, where things starts to go wrong. The whole vibe of trailer is eerie and spooky.
Niki Walia is making a comeback of sorts after a long absence from the film and television. The film is bankrolled by Hanwant Khatri and Lalit Kiri, Lupt is set for September 2018 release.
Apart from Lupt, Vijay Raaz is currently promoting his latest outing Pataakha with Vishal Bhardwaj, also starring Sanya Malhotra and Radhika Madan.
As for Jaaved Jaaferi, the actor is also committed to Total Dhamaal, which is a sequel to 2011 film Double Dhamaal and the third installment of the Dhamaal film series.
The film also stars Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Esha Gupta, Riteish Deshmukh and Arshad Warsi.
