Miss India #Dimple_Patel was crowned #Miss_Globe_2016 at the 25Expo City, Tirana, Albania on November 25 (Nov 26, Manila). She succeeds last year's winner, Philippines' Ann Colis. Forty beauties from around the world competed in the 43rd edition of the pageant.
Dimple, a simple girl born and raised in a Gujratai family based in Mumbai is one with natural grace and poise and has grown to be one of the most talked about name in the fashion world having worked with the biggest designers and choreographers in India and abroad.
Dimple is an alumna of R. D. National College. She is a well-known professional model in the Indian fashion industry.
Mr Sandeep Kumar, the owner of Rubaru Group, producer of Rubaru Mister India and Rubaru Miss India Elite pageants, is the franchise holder of Miss Globe pageant in India. Miss Globe is an annual international beauty pageant having headquarters in Canada.
More than 50 delegates from all over the globe were in Albania to vie for the coveted crown of Miss Globe 2016. At the conclusion of the pageant on 25 November 2016, the winner of Miss Globe 2015, Ann Colis from the Philippines crown her successor Miss India Dimple Patel as 2016 Miss Globe at the 25Expo City, Tirana, Albania.
