The actress has not only taken to transforming herself physically but has also had a complete makeover look wise. She took to her Twitter this morning to announce her new look. The actress is currently sporting a stylish bob, this is the first time she has cut her hair for a role.

She captioned her new look, “Life is short, make each hair flip count!! #shorthair #newlook #actorslife”

The hair transformation was done over the weekend when the actress and a team of three hair stylists and the director worked on how her hair should look in the film. The actress looks extremely classy and now we cannot wait to see her complete look in the film, sporting this new hairdo.

Uri is based on the Uri attacks that took place in 2016. The film is the directorial debut of Aditya Dhar and Yami will be seen opposite Vicky Kaushal in the film.

Speaking about it, Yami said, “I was extremely excited when the character needed this specific look for the film. When Aditya discussed it with me, I jumped at the opportunity of making my character more believable. So we did a few trials and then went ahead with it. I am loving my look, hope audiences love it too"

Swara Bhaskar and Sikha Talsania surprised the audience of the released film 'Veere Di Wedding' on Monday

When dedicating the film's success to the producers Swara said, "Ekta (Kapoor) deserves every credit for having pushed and backed this film. Rhea and Ekta have really done a tremendous job in making this film. And I think there was this notion in Bollywood that the masala commercial space is like the male bastion in terms of opening and 'Veere Di Wedding' has made a small crack in the glass ceiling with these amazing opening numbers. Now people won't be able to say female stars cant bring great opening numbers on box office."

The multi starrer is co-produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, Anil Kapoor Films & Communication Network, and Saffron Broadcast & Media Ltd

On reacting to everyone's feedback on the film Swara said she is happy to see people appreciate the film."The audience is really excited and happy when leaving the theater and the biggest thing is people are coming out feeling very positive and with high energy. Everyone is loving everyone's performances. "

"I don't really know how to calculate the numbers and what they mean but I am thankful for the kind of numbers we are getting. For me it really means that people are watching and appreciating what we have done and as an artist, I am happy with that," she added.

Tapsee on Monday promoted her debut short film 'Nitishastra' along with her co-actor Vicky Arora and director Kapil Verma. The actress is making her debut in short film titled "Nitishashtra".

When asked about her plans for the rest of the year and her future releasing project, Taapsee said: "Trailer of 'Soorma' will be launched on June 11 and it will release on July 13. By the end of June, the trailer of 'Mulk' will be released and the movie will release on July 27. 'Manmarziyaan' will also release on September 7. It is going to be an exciting year for me. I think 2018 is a very critical year for me because I have tried to work in non-conventional films,"

Talking about working on the short film she said it didn't feel like she was shooting for a short film. "When Kapil (Verma) made it, I actually felt like I am on a normal film set. I didn't get the feeling that it's a short film so, it has less production value and whatever. This made me very clear that there is a market for short films and audience want to see it."

Taapsee Pannu will be next start shooting with Amitabh Bachchan for Sujoy Ghosh directorial which is tentatively titled as 'Badla'. The duo was last seen together in their successful outing "Pink".

Alia Bhatt starrer Raazi is helmed by Meghna Gulzar, the movies revolve around a young girl, who marries a Pakistani officer in order to spy and uncover a plot of mass destruction in India. Alia delivered a mind-full performance which is daring and heart-breaking at the same time.

As for Veere Di Wedding, which tells a tale of four female friends and their struggle through life, which is an eye-opener and biggest opener at ticket window this summer. The movie stars Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania.

Harshvardhan starrer, 'Bhavesh Joshi' released along side sister Sonam Kapoor's 'Veere Di Wedding' which has also scored great number on box office over the weekend.

Anil is currently busy with  Race 3 promotions while his future projects include,  Fanne Khan with Aishwarya Ria Bachchan,  Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga with daughter SOnam Kapoor and  Total Dhamaal with Actress Madhuri Dixit Nene.

‘Race 3’ is directed by Remo D'Souza and produced by Salman Khan Films and Tips Films.

According to sources, Raja was charged by Uttar Pradesh police for allegedly creating a ruckus and for assaulting several people on the sets of a movie. A complaint was filed by film camera director against Chaudhary.

It is also been reported that he was intoxicated while he was assaulting and giving death threats to several people.

Raja was filming a movie called Sangam Rishton Ka, but due to his bad behavior and unprofessionalism, the producers decided to drop him from the film. This didn’t sit well with Raja and he assaulted and got physical with the filmmaker as well as with other team members.

Chaudhary, a former Bigg Boss contestant, has a notorious reputation. He has been accused of domestic violence by ex-wife Shweta Tiwari, whom he married in 1998. The two, who have a daughter Palak together, separated in 2007 and finally divorced in 2012 citing irreconcilable differences.

Violence erupted in the Meghalaya capital on May 31, after an altercation between a driver of the Khasi community employed with the Shillong Public Transport Service and some Punjabi women in Theme lew Mawlong, a Punjabi settlement there with around 350 households.

The violence has continued over the next few days even after the parties involved in the skirmish reached a compromise.

Curfew was imposed in the violence-hit city and on Sunday was relaxed for seven hours on Sunday.  Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju denied rumors of an attack on any Gurdwara or any Sikh institution that have emerged on social media.

The movie has been mired in controversies from the get go. The shoot got stalled in April, owning to producer Prernaa Arora’s failure to pay crew wages. Later Filmmaker Bhushan Kumar took the film under his wings and now and his production house has moved to court over receiving final injunction from Prernaa.

Meanwhile, writers of the film, Sidharth Singh and Garima Wahal, have accused Shree for copyright infringement, but reportedly, they have resolved it.

Varun Dhawan's elder brother Rohit Dhawan and sister-in-law Jaanvi Desai were blessed with a baby girl on Tuesday. The couple tied the knot in 2012 and welcomed their first child this year.

Varun Dhawan and entire Dhawan clan visited them to the hospital along with girlfriend Natasha Dalal.

Varun Dhawan had worked in his brother's film Dishoom that also starred John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez.

Currently, Varun is busy shooting for Abhishek Varman's Kalank. The film also stars Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur. Kriti Sanon will be doing a special dance number with Varun and Aditya in the film.

Kalank will be produced by Karan Johar and it is slated to release on April 19, 2019.

Padmaavat actor postponed his events in the wake of his grandmother's demise. The actor was to attend a press conference with Switzerland Tourism in Mumbai. 

Ranveer reportedly mentioned how close he was to his grandmother in various interviews. No official statement has been made on the actor's behalf.

The song depicts the early stage of Sanjay Dutt’s career and his father Sunil Dutt doubting his lip-syncing abilities. In order to prove his father wrong, Sanjay Dutt sings, the song “Main Badhiya Tu Bhi Badhiya" lip-syncing convincingly to a women’s voice. Set in the 1980’s, the song also features the quirky romance between Sanju and his girlfriend played by Sonam Kapoor.

The song is crooned by popular duo Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhan, with music from Rohan and lyrics by Puneet Sharma.

The biopic depicts the various stages of actor’s life, from his film career, drug addiction, jail time and come back to the silver screen. Ranbir Kapoor deserves praise for his amazing transformation into each phase of Sanjay Dutt's life.

The film is written and directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film will also star an ensemble cast which includes Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Vicky Kaushal, Sonam Kapoor and Dia Mirza among others.

Anupam Kher was interacting with media when he supported campaign of railway named ‘Ek Safar Rail Ke Sath’ on Saturday in Mumbai.

When asked Kher what kind of changes he has observed while travelling in the train, he said, “Railway has been biggest mode of transport in Mumbai. Stations have been the same and people travelling in train are also same. I don’t travel by train on day to day basis but things which I noticed that train coaches are cleaner and it was on time as well. When I was struggling in film industry that time, I used to travel from Bandra to VT (CST) and I used to observe people in train coaches and railway stations and after many years, those people were my source of inspiration for my characters in the films.”

Revisiting his memories of travelling by train in his initial days in Mumbai, Kher said, “On 03rd June, 1981, I landed in Mumbai on VT (CST) station to work in films and entertainment industry and today, it’s been 37 years so, today symbolically, I decided to travel from VT (CST) to Bandra station. I think Mumbai is one such city that has given opportunity to every individual in any filed to try out his luck and they travel in local trains and along with that I also attended railway safety event which highlighted safety practices while travelling in the train as I feel film personalities can support a campaign in more wider and deeper manner.”

When asked Kher what kind of suggestions he would like to give railway department, he said, “I think every department knows what they are doing and to give them suggestion what they should do and do not is incorrect. I am here to relive my memories of travelling by train”
