The director and producer Rai was spotted at the special screening of web series titled 'Side Hero’ on Thursday.  

Aanand L Rai's larger than life project with Shah Rukh Khan titled Zero, will be coming out soon. When asked if he thinks the film will set new standard or bring change to the industry he said, I don't know what will change with 'Zero' but I am really excited that I will be here with something new and something that I haven't done before. I am really looking forward to bringing that to the audience."

The filmmaker and producer Aanand L Rai shared the new song on his social media profile. He captioned it, “Let emotions take over... The song is a perfect ballad when love chooses to hurt and every reason, every pleading seems right. A rustic Punjabi love ballad set to beats that shall leave you grooving and longing. The melting number is crooned by Ammy Virk and Shahid Mallya. It is composed by Amit Trivedi and written by Shellee.

The film's cast and crew also took to twitter excited for the release. 

Vicky Kaushal tweeted about his character named Vicky, "Vicky ke mann ki ek hi marzi... Rumi. Miliye Robbie, Rumi aur Vicky se... #ManmarziyaanTrailer out now!"

The film stars Taapsee Pannu along side Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal in pivotal roles.This will be the first time that Abhishek will be collaborating with Taapsee and Vicky for a project.

Amit Trivedi the film's music composer wrote, "Excited to be a part of the beautiful musical story of Rumi, Robbie & Vicky! #Manmarziyaan Trailer out now!"

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta took to his social media account and expressed his excitement and wished Aanand L Rai and Soham Shah. He wrote, “Whoa! Tumbbad to open Venice Film Critics Week. Directed by Rahi Anil Barve Tumbad is a fantasy thriller and revolves around a desolate and forgotten village. The story is structured on the basis of greed.
