Actor #VarunDhawan, who is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming film #SuiDhaaga has said that he was bowled over by the script of the film.
Varun Dhawan was interacting with media at the trailer launch of ‘Sui Dhaaga’ along with his co-actress Anushka Sharma, director Sharat Kataria and producer Maneesh Sharma on Monday in Mumbai.
When asked Varun what made him to be part of the film, he said, “When this film came to me that time, I didn’t have time to do a film because of my other film commitments but when I read script of this film, I was just so bowled over by it. I was laughing and crying. It just took me on that ride. I always loved family films and I always wanted to do Indian films which reach out to every part of India. After reading the script, I felt I cannot leave this film, this film I have to do and I have to become Mauji so, I figured out everything else and I made sure I am part of ‘Sui Dhaaga’”
Sharing his experience shooting for ‘Sui Dhaaga’, Varun said, “It’s really special film for me and Anushka (Sharma). It’s a sense of pride and sense of what you feel to be Indian. We never express what we feel being an Indian because I feel patriotism doesn’t always have to be said, it has to be felt. While doing this film, I felt so country proud when I was shooting in Chanderi, Bhopal and Delhi especially, when we were shooting in village area, to be around those people and see their lives was amazing. That time I felt what beautiful country India is. This film shows talent, passion of those people and how they lead their life that’s the reason, I did this film and I hope audience will enjoy journey of ‘Sui Dhaaga - Made In India’"
‘Sui Dhaaga’ is comedy-drama film directed by Sharat Katariya and produced by Maneesh Sharma under the banner of Yash Raj Films.
It stars Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma in lead roles.
The film is scheduled for release on 28 September 2018.
