"The government is spending a huge amount of money on the conservation of tigers, and I feel that we are also helping in some way, so our film should be exempted from tax. It is an humble request to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to declare the film tax-free," Fortune said.

"The ticket prices will go down after tax-free status and I am sure that several more people will come and watch the film. It will also ensure that children go for the film and get educated about the initiative," Fortune added.
The film is based on the illegal poaching of tiger and the dangerous business in it. The film stars Vijay Raaz as a person who takes to tiger poaching due to poverty.

"We have not made the film for commercial purposes, but to spread awareness about the social cause. We just want more and more people to come and watch the film and save our national animal from poachers," Leegesh said.

"Mission Tiger", directed by Dipu Karunakaran, will release on the occasion of International Tiger Day, which falls on July 29.
