The actor announced the film's release date as 7th September this year. 

The film has been long in the making with directors and cast in constant change and speculation. Manmarziyan was supposed to reunite the hit pair of Ayushmann and Bhumi after the success of Dum Laga Ke Haisha has finally cast 3 lead actors, Tapsse, Abhishek and Vicky Kausha in pivotal roles.

Directed by Anurag Kashyap and music will be given by Amit Trivedi. The film also stars, Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu. This will be the first time that Abhishek will be collaborating with Taapsee and Vicky for a project.

Rajkummar Rao interacted with media at NEWS18 Reel Awards where he won award for Breakthrough Actor on Tuesday in Mumbai.

Rajkummar Rao is working for the first time with Shraddha Kapoor in horror comedy ‘Stree’, giving an update of ‘Stree’, Rao said, “We are just finishing final schedule now. It is shaping up pretty well and I am very excited for the release now”

When asked Rao his experience working with Shraddha Kapoor in ‘Stree’, he said, “It’s going very good. She is very hardworking and dedicated actor”

Talking about response from audience for his upcoming film ‘Omerta’, Rao said, “Omerta is releasing on 20th April. I think the trailer of it got great response and I feel it’s one of its kind and very unique film. It was very tough film for us to make but I am glad the kind of reactions we are getting for the film”

After releasing the first poster of Salman Khan as Sikander, the makers of Race 3 have launched a new poster of Jacqueline Fernandez. Salman Khan dropped the new poster on his social media account.

Talking about having a movie specifically based on “Educating Girl Child” in Bollywood, Actress Katrina Kaif said, “I don’t believe you need to have a movie to take this cause further or spread the awareness about this cause. There are many ways we can do it, although a movie on it, sometimes a message which comes across through movie, which is non-judgmentally, non-forcefully or organically via an entertaining form, as a movie, is an amazing way to get the message across. Someone making a movie would be outstanding”

“Although sometimes I believe underlining exactly what you are trying to say, such as Secret Superstar, that movie had that message. Abhinay Deo has knack of handling black comedy like ‘Delly Belly’ and now he has come up with ‘Blackmail’ so when asked Abhinay whether it is difficult to explore black comedy genre as there are very few directors who makes film in that zone, he said, “I don’t know how many people experiment in this genre but I feel black comedy or quirky comedy is part of our life. It just that we don’t see it in films but if see in our lives or in our surroundings, then you will find that, there is existence of dark comedy everywhere so, now the time has come to present it in an entertaining manner. Dark comedy is mostly is do with unexpected things in life and actually, reality is stranger than fiction and that is so true and if you read newspaper every day, you will observe unexpected happenings be it in politics or in common man’s life so, through this film we are trying to show that in an entertaining manner”

Blackmail director Abhinay Deo opened up about Irrfan Khan’s health and stated we should respect his privacy.

Richa was speaking with media as she celebrated International Happiness Day along with underprivileged kids organized by CRY (Children Rights and You) on Friday in Mumbai.

Talking about her forthcoming movie ‘Daas Dev’, Richa said, ‘Daas Dev’ is releasing on 20^th April. It’s a modern day adaptation of ‘Devdas’ which have background of politics.  I think Sudhir Mishra has good sense of Politics and he has made really good, different and progressive love story. In Daasdev, my character Paaro is really good and different as compared to original novel of ‘Devdas’.

On Friday, Actor Irrfan Khan revealed he has been diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour, reacting on health issue, Richa said, “He will be fine. I am positive that He will be fine. I am not aware of his recent post but I believe in god and healing so I believe that he will be fine and that is my belief”

Talking about celebrating international Happiness Day with kids, Richa said,  “I am really glad to be here because since childhood I am aware of CRY’s (Children Rights and You) work. It was good opportunity on World Happiness Day so we all have gathered here. I think children are foundation of society. If it’s a criminal or a world leader, their journey starts from their childhood that’s why it’s important to support initiatives like these.”

Actor Irrfan Khan issues a statement on the social media. He wrote, “The unexpected makes us grow, which is what the past few days have been about. Learning that I have been diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Tumour as of now has admittedly been difficult, but the love and strength of those around me and that I found within me has brought me to a place of hope. The journey of this is taking me out of the country, and I request everyone to continue sending their wishes."

He also clarified that in the post that contrary to the rumors that were floating around, 'NEURO' is not always about the brain and that googling is not always the easiest way to research.

Irrfan Khan made his fans restless as he shared a post talking about a rare disease as he skipped the promotions of his upcoming film ‘Blackmail’ whereas filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj postponed the shoot of his next with him and Deepika Padukone.

Talking about Irrfan, filmmaker Abhinay said, “I met him, he is fine and in good spirits, that is, of course, we know that he is not well. So I think he is right now away for his treatment and we should respect the family and their privacy on this particular matter. I don’t have anything more to share with you, till now we know as much as you know.”

The entire team of Blackmail, which included Kirti Kulharai, Divya Dutta, Arunoday Singh and Omi Vaidya were present at the film promotion.

Raid - the film is inspired by the real-life 'IT' raids that were conducted by Indian Revenue Services back in the '80s.

Jacqueline Fernandez looks sexy as ever in the first look of Ek Do Teen's recreated version. The actress will be recreating Madhuri Dixit's iconic song Ek Do Teen in the upcoming film Baaghi 2. The first look of Jacqueline from the song is out.

When asked Gauhar what prompted her to come up with her own clothing line, Gauhar said, “I thought of launching my own fashion line because people expect that I should have my own fashion line as my followers appreciate my fashion sense then I said why not, because I feel no dream is too big to achieve so if you work towards it then it is pretty much possible and that’s how it turned out.”

“It was an emotional moment for me because I am youngest daughter of my family and for me, to turn into a businesswoman with on backing and no support. I think we need to have some courage then I feel everything is possible”

Gauhar launched her clothing line on her mother’s birthday, sharing that feeling, Gauhar said, "What better day it could be than my mom's birthday as she has been my ultimate fashionista since my childhood. As a kid, I used to always admire the way our mom dressed us up."

‘Hichki’ is a drama film, directed by Sidharth P Malhotra and produced by Maneesh Sharma and Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The film is an adaptation of Hollywood film Front of the Class (2008), which itself was based on the book, ‘Front of the Class: How Tourette Syndrome Made Me the Teacher I Never Had by Brad Cohen’, of which Yash Raj Films acquired the rights.

She signed an untitled movie of filmmaker Siddharth Anand’s yet untitled project, which will bring actors Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff together onscreen for the first time, will go on the floors in August, and will release on October 2, 2019.

Aamir Khan starrer Dangal and Secret Superstar made more money in China than India. Talking about the market potential, the actor believes that India has the same potential as China just need little infrastructure.

He said, “I think India has a big a potential as China. I just feel that China has invested in entertainment industry and administration is also supportive. They have built up a lot of screens that is why the business has gone up. I think if we built many more theaters here in India, it is such a large country with a huge population if we build more theaters we will get the same kind of growth in the entertainment and film industry. So it is just the matter of building the infrastructure in India.”

When asked Mishra about comparison being made between ‘Dasdev’ and earlier versions of ‘Devdas’, to that, he said, “I feel audience shouldn’t compare ‘Dasdev’ with earlier versions of ‘Devdas’. It’s an engrossing and gripping story which also has elements of thriller. Each actor of the film has performed brilliantly and the scale of this film is huge. I think we give so much of importance to love in our life so in this film you will be able to see if true love is possible in today’s times and if it is then how ? so, I hope audience will like the film and if they do then they should recommend it their family and friends”

Talking about his upcoming film ‘Dasdev’, Mishra said, “’Dasdev’ a reverse journey of ‘Devdas’. In ‘Devdas’, Devdas becomes victim of his habits and greed and in the end he is of no use who dies in front of door of Paro, so in today’s time, what is meaning of that love that is what ‘Dasdev’ is all about. Earlier the films made on “Devdas,’ they have shown journey from ‘Dev to Das’ but in our film we have shown journey from ‘Das to Dev’. It about how he finds aim of his life and how he struggle with difficulties. In this film, Paro and Chandni (Chandramukhi) are not the characters who are dying in their house remembering his love. This film is connected with political happenings in our country where women handle politician’s money which you often see in political circles and men as well. Chandini (Chandramukhi) is in love with Devdas but she is in control of her life and controls everything around her. You will see story of Paro and Devdas from the view point of Chandni (Chandramukhi) but in the second half of the film she stands against Devdas so audience will be able to see all this in film.”

There were reports that biopic of Saina Nehwal has taken backseat as Shardha Kapoor has given preference of shooting to two other films ‘Saaho’ and ‘Stree’, reacting to that reports, Shraddha said “Right now the current films in which I am working on are ‘Saaho’ and ‘Stree’ and ‘Saina’ will definitely be happening later”

Sharing her experience about walking the ramp foe designer Anita Dongre, Shraddha said, “I felt really happy walking the ramp for Anita. The bridal lehenga which I am wearing is really beautiful piece of art and the color of the lehenga is also very pleasant. I share special bond with Anita and I am huge fan of her work so I am really happy that she chose me to showcase her collection on the ramp”
