Petrified of directing a film says Abhishek Bachchan
Actor #AbhishekBachchan, who was last seen in #Manmarziyaan has said that he is petrified of directing a film.
Abhishek Bachchan was interacting with media at Jagran Cinema Summit 2018 on Friday in Mumbai.
Abhishek Bachchan made his acting debut in JP Dutta’s ‘Refugee’ in 2000 and in the span of 18 years, he has acted in 60 odd films when asked Abhishek whether he has plans to direct a film in future, he said, “I am petrified of directing a film. I have been having tough enough time being an actor. I think direction is completely different discipline. I understand why actors sometime feel creative urge to direct a film but I never felt that till date but I am pretty sure if I want to do down the line then, I will make sure to learn it. I don’t think just because you are an actor so you can become a director. Directing is 360 degree kind of a job where acting is just related to a scene which I am going to do on that day so as of now, I don’t think I can direct a film and if I do then I will make a terrible film.”

Actress Taapsee Pannu released a video, which gives a little sneak-peek into the life of Rumi, her aspiration, struggle, inspiration and inner thought process, along with the process of discovering such a free-spirited and endearing character.

In the video, Taapsee is seen saying, “It is very difficult to define Rumi, I will not get into that...I just want to say one thing for me, she is someone you cannot be without...but when you’re with her, she is probably the most difficult person to be with...She speaks before she thinks...I think whatever is in her heart, will be on her face and what you hear...She is all heart.”

Thespian #AmitabhBachchan and his son #AbhishekBachchan are proud of #ShwetaNanda, as the author turned fashion designer opened her own brand #MxS, with a huge success.
Shweta Nanda added yet another feather to her cap by launching her fashion brand, MxS in collaboration with daughter Navya Naveli Nanda and designer Monisha Jaising. The MxS is a new affordable luxury brand. The designs are inspired by contemporary street wear and pop culture.
Amitabh Bachchan took to his social media profile and expressed her happiness. He wrote, “The daughter launches her fashion brand and a Father cannot be more proud...within a couple of hours everything was SOLD OUT...!!”

Vicky Kaushal Unveils Manmarziyaan Poster, Confirms Trailer Release Date
#AbhishekBachchan, #VickyKaushal and #TaapseePannu starring #Manmarziyaan is out with yet another interesting poster and finally confirms the trailer release date, which is tomorrow, 9th August 2018.

Manmarziyan will see Bachchan return to the big screen after a gap of two years as he was last seen in the 2016 rom-com 'Housefull 3'.
In the film, Abhishek will be romancing Taapsee Pannu for the first time. The shooting has taken place in Delhi, Punjab and a snowfall sequence between Abhishek and Taapsee will be shot in Kashmir. The film will also mark Taapsee's first project with Kashyap.

Manmarziyaan Gets A New Release Date
Bollywood is going through release shuffle right now, the latest movie which is pre-poned is #Manmarziyaan, starring #AbhishekBachchan, #TaapseePannu and #VickyKaushal.
The official handle of Phantom Films confirmed the news about release date change. It said, “Friday feels fantastic! The movie now will hit the theatres on 14th September. Manmarziyaan is an upcoming romantic drama film directed by Anurag Kashyap and written by Kanika Dhillon. The film stars Abhishek Bachchan, Vicky Kaushal, and Taapsee Pannu.
Initially, it was reported that Dulquer Salmaan, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Bhumi Pednekar were cast in the film, but they dropped out of the film. Abhishek Bachchan was then brought in as a replacement for Dulquer Salmaan.

The trailer for Soorma is out. Based on the life and times of hockey player Sandeep Singh, Diljit Dosanjh plays the lead role. The story chronicles the life and struggle of Sandeep becoming national champion but due to a tragic accident, he gets paralyzed and bounces back through sheer determination and spirit.

Alia Bhatt is Gifted Says Abhishek Bachchan
#AbhishekBachchan graced the special screening of upcoming spy thriller drama #Raazi, starring #AliaBhatt and Vicky Kaushal, helmed by #MeghnaGulzar, and junior Bachchan is all praises for junior Bhatt, says he finds her “Gifted’.
Meghna Gulzar directorial Raazi, is based on a novel “Calling Sehmat” by Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat, about an Indian spy married to a Pakistani military officer during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.
Abhishek Bachchan took to his social media profile and praised the entire cast and crew, especially Alia Bhatt.

Abhishek Bachchan Attend Nikhil Advani's Mother's Last Rites
#AbhishekBachchan along with other eminent film personalities offered their respect and attained the funeral for filmmaker Nikhil Advani's mother, Rekha, who passed away suddenly.
“Kal Ho Naa Ho” director Nikhil Advani’s mother, Rekha, died suddenly on Saturday, confirmed the family source. The cause of her death is not disclosed as yet. The last rites were performed at Banganga, Nepean Sea Road, around one in the afternoon.
Actor Abhishek Bachchan along with filmmaker Sudhir Mishra, Karan Johar, T-series owner Bhushan Kumar and veteran actor Manoj Bajpayee, Actress Diana Penty and director Sahid Ali were seen at the prayer and funeral.
Abhishek Bachchan hugged and consoled Nikhil Advani. The last rites were to be performed at Banganga, Nepean Sea Road, in Mumbai at 1 pm on Sunday. Besides Nikhil, Rekha is survived by daughter Monisha and son Kunal.
The family shared the following message with well-wishers: “With grief and sadness, this is to inform you that Rekha Advani (m/o Monisha, Nikkhil, and Kunal) passed away suddenly this evening. Funeral and last rites will be tomorrow, Sunday, Apr 8 at Banganga, Nepean Sea Road at 1 pm. We will update details of Marka as soon as we have more information.”.

Manmarziyaan releasing on 7th September: Abhishek Bachchan
#AbhishekBachchan on Wednesday shared his first look of the upcoming film, #Manmarziyaan and shared the film's release date.
Abhishek will be essaying a role of a Punjabi character while doing pagadis' (turbans). The captioned tweet read, "#Manmarziyaan releasing on 7th September. @anuragkashyap72 @aanandlrai @taapsee @vickykaushal09 @ErosNow @cypplOfficial 🤞"
The actor announced the film's release date as 7th September this year.
The film has been long in the making with directors and cast in constant change and speculation. Manmarziyan was supposed to reunite the hit pair of Ayushmann and Bhumi after the success of Dum Laga Ke Haisha has finally cast 3 lead actors, Tapsse, Abhishek and Vicky Kausha in pivotal roles.
Directed by Anurag Kashyap and music will be given by Amit Trivedi. The film also stars, Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu. This will be the first time that Abhishek will be collaborating with Taapsee and Vicky for a project.

Still in talks: Abhishek Bachchan on film with Aishwarya
The Bollywood grapevine is abuzz that real life husband and wife #Abhishek_Bachchan and #Aishwarya_Rai_Bachchan are coming together for a film. But Abhishek says they are still in talks and that he would rather have the producer make the announcement.
The two actors are reportedly being cast in Anurag Kashyap's production titled "Gulab Jamun".
Asked about it, Abhishek told the media here: "That film is not directed by Anurag Kashyap. It will have a new director and will be produced by Anurag Kashyap. We are still in talks with Anurag about that and right now we can't announce anything because I feel the producer is the right person when it comes to announcing a film."
Abhishek spoke on the sidelines of the 20-year celebration of the movie "Border" here on Sunday.
