Karan Johar just took to his social media profile and shared a picture with Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna from the shoot and wrote, “Wanted to direct @mrsfunnybones 20 years ago and finally managed on an ad yesterday! Filmmaker Karan Johar is a family friend of Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar. The filmmaker has wanted to shoot the duo for 20 long years and looks like his long-held wish has come true. The Ad will air soon!
Apart from the Ad, Karan Johar’s home company Dharma Productions is presenting the most expensive movie ever made, 2.0, starring Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth.
The 2.0 is an upcoming science fiction film written and directed by S. Shankar, co-written by B. Jeyamohan, and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah. The film serves as a spiritual successor to the 2010 Tamil film Enthiran.
The film features Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, and Amy Jackson. The first teaser for the film will be out on 13th September.
The film is scheduled to be released theatrically on 29 November 2018.
