Designer #SamantChauhan here on Friday opened his #SamantChauhanDesignStudio which chronicles all his bestsellers over the years and showcases his inspirations taken from traditions across the globe.
His love for Indian crafts and embroideries can be seen on his creations and now his newly opened three-storeyed Design Studio located at Shahpur Jat reflects the same story in the form of interiors and constructions.
The Studio houses his complete collection of embroidered clothes, accessories and home furnishings in the finest of Bhagalpuri Silk, Chanderi and Leather.
What is unique about the place is his workshop adjoining the studio where master craftsmen are at work. The creation of each piece is according to designer a labour of love for the yarn and the spindle.
Samant has created a niche in his studio for pieces that have been borne of his experimentation. The outfits in this section have been handpicked for profiling.
"Style captures the persona of a being. My Studio captures mine," said the designer, a graduate from NIFT and also one of the youngest members of the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI).
The designer's journey started in the bylanes of Shahpur Jat, and honest to his roots, he opened his studio here.
