Bollywood at the 9th #JagranFilmfestival's closing ceremony on Sunday addressed the recent development in the Me too moment when #TanushreeDutta stated allegations on veteran actor #NanaPatekar  harassed her on the sets of the film #HornOkPleassss when the two were shooting for an item song.

Director Anurag Kashyap who is known to speak out his mind, said it is important we look into ourselves, "We have to look back into our lives and the things we have done. Its time we grow up, acknowledge and accept your mistakes. This is everyone's fault the society, conditioning and the way we behave. We have to question ourselves. All of us, you and me."

Celebrities like Richa Chadha, Swara Bhasker, Priyanka Chopra have come out in support of Tanushree Dutta’s allegation against Nana Patekar and latest to join the bandwagon is Sonam Kapoor.

Actress Sonam Kapoor took to her social media profile and belted out two-part tweet, supporting the actress.

She wrote, “I believe #TanushreeDatta and @janiceseq85 recollection of the account. Janice is my friend, and she is anything but an exaggerator or a liar. And it’s upto us to stand together”

“Many of my co-workers, female and male have been harassed and bullied, but it’s their story to tell. If we don’t encourage their voices and instead vilify and question them, how will victims ever become survivors? Let them speak up! Stand up with them!”

Talking about her gap from Bollywood and now return to the country Dutta said, "This is my comeback to the country and I don't want people to read too much into it. I was settled in America and had applied for Green Card. Ever since I haven't had the chance to comeback because of travel permits issues. So now that I received my Green Card in feb I thought I should comeback one."
