Designer Masumi Mewawalla launches signature label

City-based designer Masumi Mewawalla has launched her signature design label Emblaze.

With an exclusive range of prêt clothing for men and women, the label offers an eclectic mix of western casuals, semi-formal and formal attire. 

The new collection offers bright colours, the clothes are comfortable and affordable. There are even fashionable crop tops and chic style dresses for day to day life. 

“Emblaze means to illuminate and my new collection is very radiant. Even if I have used many light colours, the outfits illuminate lot of brightness and embellish smoothness," Mewawalla said in a statement. 

"My new collection Emblaze is all about fashion along with comfort for the everyday wear. It will soon mark a brand name in the casual wear for men and women both," she added. 

The 23-year-old designer also has a popular bridal and formal couture line called Pink Peacock Couture under her name.

Her designs showcase a blend of the ethnicity of Indian wear and the edginess of Western outfits. 

She plans to take the label online and at various stores in India in a few months.
