Mishra was present at the 9th Jagran Film Festival awards night alongside director Anurag Kashyap, Actor Swara Bhaskar, Varun Dhawan, Pooja Bhatt and many more.

When asked which film did he think were the best if 2018 he said,  "I can't name one best film of the year but I want to watch Pataakha soon. Raazi was a good film. 'Village Rockstar is doing really well, and I am very happy to see people appreciating the film so much. There is a film coming up called 'Tumbbad'. That is going to be a very good film.
