The actress has been roped in by English GEC channel, AXN, to be a part of a unique food-based show scheduled to air next month. Marriott International, the largest hospitality chain in the world, and AXN India, destination to the best English entertainment shows, have joined hands for a one-of-its-kind association to create a unique culinary show that promises to enthrall viewers.

The official handle of ‘AXN Live R.E.D.’ confirmed the news on social media. It said, “We, along with @IChitrangda and @MarriottIntl have something delightfully delicious cooking! Stay tuned to find out!”

Chitrangda's college degree in food and nutrition and her versatility as an actor, charm, and glamour made her an authentic choice for the show. The association will also be Chitrangda’s first appearance in the English GEC space.

Baazaar is an upcoming crime-thriller film directed by Gauravv K. Chawla, written by Nikkhil Advani, Aseem Arora and Parveez Sheikh. The film is set in the backdrop of money, power and business, largely based on the Stock market.

The film has been delayed for the longest, but now the maker confirms the release date on social media.

Confirming the same, ViaCom18 Motion pictures also wrote, “Stoked to announce our next project @BaazaarFilm in association with @KytaProductions & @EmmayEntertain. The film is directed by @gauravvkchawla & stars #SaifAliKhan, @radhika_apte, @IChitrangda & @rohanvmehra. Bazaar releases on 26^th Oct. @AndhareAjit, @ajay0701 @nikkhiladvani”

Actress Chitrangada Singh was spotted at 92.7 Big FM Office to promote the upcoming film Soorma.

Talking about the film, Chitrangada said, “Soorma is close to my heart, we had worked on this for a long time. Despite the rain, I am here and media is here, so thank you all. On this 13th July Soorma is releasing and with a lot of love and hard work, we have made this film. It took us almost two and a half year to complete this film.”

'Soorma' directed by Shaad Ali, stars #DiljitDosanjh as #SandeepSingh, #TapseePannu as Harpreet and Angad Bedi as Bikramjeet Singh.

When talking about the film and its story she said, "The film is going to acknowledge a real life hero. Sandeep Singh is a real life hero. So far we have been looking up to fictional hero, whose stories were penned down by filmmakers. But he really has lived a dramatic life, he was shot that paralyzed him and he still stood up and became the caption of Indian hockey team. The story is very inspirational and hope everyone likes it."

When asked why she chose this story as her debut project she said it was the most dramatic story she had ever heard.

"When I heard the story I felt like I have never heard such a dramatic story in real life of someone who goes on to becoming the fastest drag flicker in the world. Sandeep's comeback in life is so strong that I don't think I could have come up with anything like that myself. When I chose this film I thought it is a very important story that needed to be told. I am very happy that as a producer my first film is 'Soorma'."
