Veteran designer Ritu Seksaria, an expert in bridal couture, will exhibit her creations at the second edition of Ruchika Fest 2016 here for a noble cause.
The designer will showcase her collection at the two-day fest, which will be held at Dome at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Stadium at Worli here from Friday. All the funds garnered from the sale at the fest will go to an orphanage named Samparc, read a statement.
Seksaria's collection consists of a range of ethnic wear such as saris, anarkalis and lehengas. With floral prints and light hand-woven embroidery work, the designer has played with vibrant colour palette for the line.
"I am excited to showcase my collection at Ruchika Fest 2016 this weekend. It’s a very unique concept where fashion plays a major role in raising funds for charity. It’s a privilege to be a part of such a noble cause, looking forward to see some happy faces,” said Seksaria.
Ruchika Fest is a fund raising event that supports Samparc -- an orphanage of 125 girls.
