After being in the industry for 25 long years, finally, the actor has been conferred with the Padma Shree. Dhanush starring Asuran start rolling today on the auspicious days of 70th Republic Day! The actor took to his social media and confirmed the same. He tweeted, “#Asuran shoot starts from today”

Malayalam actor Manju Warrier will be playing the female lead in the film. It will also mark her Tamil debut. It is said that Dhanush will appear in a very different get-up in the film.

Actor Dhanush also dropped the first look poster of the film. He captioned it, “#Asuran FIRST LOOK @theVcreations @gvprakash @VetriMaaran”

In the first look poster has him in the air, wielding a spear, his forehead marked with layers of thilak and a scowl on his face. The film is reported to be based on a Tamil novel called Vekkai written by Poomani. The novel is a revenge drama that traces the fight of an oppressed community.

It was announced that GV Prakash Kumar would be composing music for the film and Velraj is the cinematographer. Asuran will be bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Thanu, who was also the producer for VIP 2.

Superstar Akshay Kumar took to his social media handle and dropped the new poster. He captioned it, “Happy Republic Day. The film Kesari is an upcoming period war drama film. It stars Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles and directed by Anurag Singh.

It tells the story of Havildar Ishar Singh who participates in the Battle of Saragarhi (in which an army of 21 Sikhs fought against 10,000 Afghans in 1897) while yearning for the respect of his estranged daughter.

This groovy and rap number is crooned by Naved Shaikh aka Naezy. This is a whole new promotional series to introduce the original Gully Boys in a capsule series.

Gully Boy is about an aspiring rapper from a ghetto in Bombay and his journey from realising his love for rap, to chasing his dream, and to inadvertently transcending his class. It is been reported that the film is inspired by popular rappers Divine and Naezy.

Gully Boy is a musical drama film, directed by Zoya Akhtar. It stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. The movie also stars Kalki Koechlin, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Vijay Raaz, Vijay Varma and Amruta Subhash.

Veteran actor Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor graced the launch of Kunal Rawal’s flagship ship store launch here in Mumbai.

ELKDTAL is first of its kind movie, which features real-life father and daughter – Ani and Sonam – as on-screen father and daughter.

The upcoming film is all about same-sex relationships. Sonam plays a girl from a small town who falls in love with another girl. Rajkummar, on the other hand, plays the part of Sonam’s lover who later on goes to become her best friend.

Raizada interacted with media for the release of 'Total Dhamaal's first look poster.

The first look of Total Dhamaal is out on the day of Makar Sankranti. The poster features one of the lead actors Ajay Devgn and partner in crime Crystal.

When asked about the film's first poster coming out, Niharica said, " I just love the poster, Ajay looks fab in it and his partner in crime Crystal is going to create waves in Bollywood".

Total Dhamaal will be Crystal's Bollywood debut. The primate little monkey has been the Hollywood star for a long time, she was seen in films like Hangover 2, George of the Jungle, Night at the Museum and more.

Nihharica added she hopes the film will fly as high as her kite will on Makar Sankranti.

"Makar Sankranti marks the end of winter and it is a day in the Hindu calendar dedicated to the worship of the god Surya. I think it is very auspicious for the poster to release today. May our film fly as high as my kite will fly today for this festival."

Zoya Akhtar directorial is based on rapping and it has drama, passion, struggle, and a story of an underdog, who makes it to the top with sheer dedication and craft.  

Actor Ranveer Singh as a rapper is fighting his inner demons and his chemistry with Alia is one of the highlights of the trailer. The movie also stars Kalki Koechlin and Vijay Raaz in pivotal roles.

The film is based on the life of Divine and Naezy (Naved Shaikh), underground rappers from Mumbai. It chronicles the life and struggles of rapper Divine - its name is inspired by his breakout song, Mere Gully Mein - and his troupe of street rappers, who go by the name ‘Gully Gang’.

The actor interacted with media alongside producer, Prakash Jha, and co-actor Saurabh Shukla during a promotional interview on Tuesday.

Arshard has given Indian cinema various kinds of roles, from action hero to dark comedy. When asked if being branded only as a comedy actor he takes offense to it he said, "I don't mind, I love working in comedy. Things like image and brand don't really matter to me that much.

And to be honest it is not easy to find work as an actor and there are many actors who are unemployed. As for my satisfaction, when I do feel like I want to do something serious I work on it, I am currently doing a web series on those lines."

Arshard in the film will be seen as a husband to 13 women in different cities. The film revolves around the idea of him conning his 13 wives for money, but when he meets a formidable woman he begins to repent for the mistakes.

Talking about the character, he said, "The best thing about the film and the most fun part of the character is that I got to play 14 different roles in the film. These women in the film have their own hopes about their husband and my character according to them behaves like that and when he is with Saurabh Shukla, he behaves as himself. Like that, I got to play 14 different characters in the same film.

Fraud Saiyaan is directed by Sourabh Shrivastava, presented by Prakash Jha and produced by Disha Jha and Kanishk Gangwal. It stars Arshad Warsi, Saurabh Shukla and Sara Loren in lead roles.

Talking about the film during a press junket, Saurabh Shukla said, “I had a wonderful experience working on this film. As a matter of fact, some of the most memorable films of my life, which I personally will remember and cherish, Fraud Saiyaan will definitely be in the top few names. I had a wonderful time shooting, the production was amazing, and people that I worked with were amazing.”

Saurabh Shukla is noted for his power-packed and character oriented films, with time he has adapted comic avatars as well. Talking about the change in content and cinema, the actor quipped, things changes with time, and it is nothing new.

He said, “I don’t know about the change, as much as the world changes, the things change that much, everything changes with everything. There was a time when you waited for your phone call at neighbor’s house, and today you carry your phone in your own hands. Change keeps on happening.”

Talking about his film, Saurabh said, “There are frauds in life, which might have broken your heart and given you hardship, but this Fraud will make you happy.”

Helmed by Remo D’souza and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Lizelle D’Souza, the yet untitled movie will now star Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead alongside Nora.  

Welcoming Nora into the team, Varun wrote on Twitter, "She’s one of the most  hard  working  and driven human being that I have ever meet. Welcome to the gang. Gonna feed u cheese and dance with u.  Hey  @Norafatehi we  gonnna  kick up a storm. #3iscoming"

Dhawan has been calling the upcoming project as #3iscoming since its announcement, hinting his fans for an #ABCD3. Varun will be seen playing a boy from Punjab, who grows up in London and a major chunk of the film will be shot in the UK.

While Shraddha will be seen as a professional dancer representing the Indian contingent alongside Varun Dhawan and his team. The film also marks the acting debut of Shakti Mohan and Vartika Jha. The hunt is on for a foreign dancer.

Nora went on to deliver many hit songs in 2018 like 'Satyameva Jayate's 'Dilbar' and ‘Kamariya’ from the blockbuster film ‘Stree’. The dancer has now landed her first film in 2019.

Talking about the project Nora in a statement said, “I am extremely excited to be a part of this project. Remo sir is extremely talented and I am looking forward to learn a lot from him. I am equally thrilled to work with Varun and Shraddha, the trio have done an amazing job in their last venture and I can’t wait to join the squad. I’m so grateful for Bhushan Kumar sir and T-Series for making this happen and trusting me. This is going to be an epic experience.”

The film earlier was supposed to star Katrina Kaif earlier. But the actress had to opt out due to her commitments with Salman Khan starrer period film, 'Bharat'.

Varun will be seen playing a boy from Punjab, who grows up in London and a major chunk of the film will be shot in the UK. The film also marks the acting debut of Shakti Mohan and Vartika Jha. The hunt is on for a foreign dancer.

Hinting towards Nora's character in the film, Bhushan Kumar, T-Series said, "She is a strong dancer and suits the role we have locked her for. Nora is already an international dancer and that adds to the character’s requirement. She will join the cast in London schedule and the audiences will see her in a different avtaar.”
